GP Pediatrics

General practitioners (GPs) who specialize in pediatrics diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions that affect infants, children, and young adults up to 21 years old. The GP Pediatric doctors can manage a wide range of health concerns, including routine wellness visits, acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions that are common in childhood. GP pediatrics focus on prevention and early detection of medical problems, providing immunizations, monitoring growth and development, and providing counselling for parents on parenting and child-rearing. In most cases, parents will take their children to a GP Pediatrician for routine checkups, vaccinations, and when their child is sick.
